Your BasicPhone has been created to be easy to use, so only basic controls have been included. However to save you having to remember and re-key long 11 digit phone numbers your BasicPhone can be programmed to store up to 9 ‘speed-dial’ numbers.
With speed-dial you only need to press one button to dial rather than dialing the whole number. * As there are no controls or menus on the phone itself, this is done via the internet by logging onto http://195.35.183.82/app and following the step by step instructions.
1. Make a note of the following numbers as you will be asked for these later:
A) Your Login-code = the last 4 digits of your BasicPhones serial number. This is also found on the box. If you no longer have the box it can be found on your BasicPhone by removing the rear cover and carefully lifting the flat silver battery. Only the last 4 digits are required.
B) Your Password = the last 4 digits of the I.E.M.I (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. This is a 15 digit number found on the side of the box that you received your BasicPhone in. Only the last 4 digits.
Alternatively to display the IEMI number on your phone key in
C) Your mobile phone’s telephone number. You will be asked for this and must enter it using your country code and deleting the leading zero of your mobile phone number. for example the UK would be +44 and then the remainder of your number ignoring the first zero.
So, 07766 944 944 would become: +44 7766 944 944 if it is a UK number.
2. Ensure that you have fitted the SIM card correctly (see our information sheet on installing the SIM card).
3. Ensure that your BasicPhone is switched on and that the ‘Key Lock’ is on and a small padlock is showing on the display. Please log-on to http://195.35.183.82/app and fill in the information as requested.
